TeraView and Doolim-Yaskawa secure key order from major Korean car manufacturer
TeraView is pleased to announce that as part of its collaboration with robotics leader Doolim-Yaskawa, the two companies have secured an order for TeraView’s TeraCota 2000 terahertz system from Korea’s largest car manufacturing group. This contract is part of the joint effort between TeraView and Doolim to advance multi-layer paint applications for the Korean automotive manufacturing industry.
The TeraCota 2000 enables precise, non-destructive measurement and quality control of complex paint layers on vehicle bodies. As Korean car makers increasingly adopt advanced automation and quality standards, the integration of TeraView’s terahertz technology with Doolim-Yaskawa’s robotics solutions is set to deliver significant improvements in efficiency and product quality across the industry.
The customer ranks 3rd in the world in terms of automotive sales, and successful implementation of the TeraCota system in the customer’s Koeran plant will lead to further deployments of TeraView’s TeraCota system at the customer’s production plants throughout Korea, Europe and the US.
This sale underscores the TeraView’s leadership in Terahertz-based inspection solutions, with the largest list of Fortune 500 customers for Terahertz technology and products. It also illustrates the power of TeraView’s partnership with Doolim Yasakawa, Korea’s largest robotics solution specialist.
