TeraView secures additional orders from major semiconductor foundries and smartphone providers designing and manufacturing AI chips

Feb 24, 2026

TeraView, the pioneer and leader in terahertz technology and solutions, is pleased to announce a series of new orders to repeat Fortune 500 customers that include the world’s largest semiconductor foundry and the world’s largest smartphone provider.

TeraView has secured recurring support contracts from these customers to ensure the on-going implementation of TeraView’s existing EOTPR systems at the customers’ Asian corporate and manufacturing sites.

In one case, a Taiwan-based foundry has worked with TeraView EOTPR for a number of years, and has again extended its support contract ahead of the planned addition of EOTPR automation features in Q2 2026. The customer is the largest supplier for key components of AI chips to NVIDIA and AMD. EOTPR is increasingly seen by this customer and the industry as a critical failure analysis and quality control tool for inspecting GPU to HBM  connections in heterogeneously integrated semiconductor packages that form the core of AI devices.

In an earlier public announcement from NVIDIA in 2025, NVIDIA stated that EOTPR is now being used as a ‘first-in-line’ priority technology in their work-flow for failure analysis and test & measurement of AI chips, and that they would work with their suppliers to implement EOTPR in supplier production processes. This repeat contract to the Taiwanese customer underscores the fact that NVIDIA suppliers are relying on TeraView EOTPR to meet NVIDIA’s expectations.

In a second case, TeraView secured a repeat contract from a major provider of smartphones that is also an entrant into the AI chip market. The versatility of EOTPR to provide test and inspection capabilities in different areas including AI chips, microprocessors and even advanced camera modules used in mobile devices has made EOTPR a must-have for this customer.

Don Arnone, TeraView’s CEO, stated “The recent record-braking revenue growth by the customers cited above are mirrored in our recent order in-take from these Fortune 500 companies as well as all of the major AI and HBM chip providers. Our ability to sell into the test & measurement of both AI chips as well as other key chips used in smartphones shows the diversity and strength our EOTPR product. The sale to the foundry customer is an explicit demonstration of our sales model based on working closely with industry leaders such as NVIDIA and AMD, who in turn mandate our EOTPR technology to their suppliers. By contrast, the repeat sale to the world’s largest smartphone company will allow them to recommend our technology to their key chip suppliers. As the boundries between AI chip users, designers and manufacturers merge, TeraView’s footprint with all of these customers places it in a premier position to grow its business.”
